Dermaroller™ Therapy is a medically tested sterile single use devise proven to be safe and effective which works by producing thousands of microscopic needle columns in the dermis of the skin. These stimulate natural healing and regeneration of the skin and can significantly improve the appearance of:

Facial & Décolleté Lines & Wrinkles
Stretch Marks
Resulting in smoother, brighter, healthier; younger-looking skin.

The treatment will commence with the application of a local anesthetic cream, followed by the Dermaroller™ Therapy. It will feel warm and tighter immediately following your Dermaroller treatment which lasts for 2 – 4 hours. Your skin will be mild to moderately red – like sunburn, for 3 -4 days, but usually fades in 2 days.

You should avoid make-up for 24 hours but can use mineral make-up after 12 hours if necessary. Patients can go back to their normal activities after 1 - 2 days.

The results are first and foremost natural. As the Dermaroller™ Therapy acts by stimulating the skins’ natural healing and repair there is a gradual improvement in the appearance and feel of the skin over 4 – 6 weeks. This process continues for up to 3 months. Depending on the area being treated, such as acne scars or stretch marks, additional treatments may be recommended to achieve the optimum results.

Three treatments are recommended at 6 weekly intervals but 4 or 5 treatments may be required for acne scars or stretch marks to achieve the optimum results.
