IPL Skin Rejuvenation treats and reverses the signs of ageing over a series of monthly sessions.
A non-invasive light therapy device is delivered via the skin, and is specifically programmed to reduce uneven skin tone and fine vascular lesions on the skin.
This treatment also produces a 40% increase in collagen, reducing fine lines and replenishing moisture loss in dry skin and mature skin.

What will it involve?
For optimum skin improvement IPL laser is best taken after an exfoliation treatment, such as a Micro-dermabrasion, Fresh Up Light, or an Acid Skin Peel, along with Steam & Pore Extraction to lift layers of unwanted dead skin cells and remove skin blockage to improve the surface of the skin. IPL laser treatment will respond to the deeper layers of the skin.
Your skin care practitioner will complete a detailed consultation to establish your skin type, condition, and your skin care improvement goals, all of which will determine the most suitable treatment and planning to suit you.
A Laser consultation is essential prior to taking any of the laser treatments.
Commencing a pre-exfoliation treatment, or simply a cleanse if you opt out of the pre-exfoliation treatment, the IPL laser is applied.
The IPL laser energy is delivered to the skin, stimulating new collagen and elastin to aid the reconstruction of the matrix in the deeper layers of the skin, plumping out fine lines and improving overall skin tone.
IPL Skin Rejuvenation destroys the melanin and fine capillary walls into microscopic particles, allowing the body to eliminate them via the body’s natural defense system.
It takes no more than 30 minutes to treat the full face, and leaves the skin feeling instantly rejuvenated, smoother, fresh and glowing.
Why have the procedure?
IPL laser is ideal for all skin types and ethnic origins up to skin type 4.
This treatment is suitable for the Face, Neck and Chest and produces outstanding results in the treatment of:
• Fine Lines
• Uneven skin tone
• Fine Thread Veins
• Skin Redness
• Dry & Dehydrated
• or simply maintain a clear healthy skin.
Does it hurt?
Generally no pain is felt. However you may experience some heat discomfort when the IPL laser is placed over some areas of the skin. Care is taken to make it as comfortable as possible.
How Many Treatments Do I Need?
A course of 10 treatments taken every 4 weeks is advised to achieve best results and provide longevity of the skin results.
How quickly will I see the results?
After one treatment the skin will instantly become taut, smooth, fresh and bright. Regular treatments will stimulate collagen and elastin formation, resulting in a much smoother, firmer and more rejuvenated skin.
How long will the results last?
Following a course of treatments, the results can last up to many months. However this depends on many factors, such as how one cares for the skin post treatment, the severity of one’s natural oil production, diet, stress, hormone influences and lifestyle.
Depending on the intensity of the treatment redness may appear in some areas of the skin treated, and can feel sensitive post IPL laser. Treat the skin as a sensitive skin, avoid heat treatments and swimming for 72 hours or until the skin appears completely calm.
Avoid taking any anti-inflammatory medication for the next 72 hours to ensure you receive optimum results.
Avoid exposure to the sun whilst undertaking the course of treatments as this treatment can bring the risk of the skin developing hyper-pigmentation if exposed to UV light.
For a healthier skin your skin care practitioner will guide you with a personlised home care skin regime.
Use an SPF daily.
