Holistic Massage

Holistic Body Massage is a fusion of therapeutic massage techniques to include Aromatherapy using individually selected essential oils, Indian Head Massage to focus on pressure points and Reflexology which is a healing art.

It alleviates tension pent up in the neck, shoulder, back and feet allowing your mind and body to relax and unwind.

Pre Treatment

Your practitioner will complete a detailed consultation and medical history to determine any contraindications and that the treatment is safe to proceed.

Some medications have to be out of your system for a certain amount of time before we can treat.

Check with your GP if you are taking prescription medication and discuss this with your practitioner.

What will it involve?
Your practitioner will complete a detailed consultation and medical history to identify the reasons for the treatment and your wellness improvement goals.

Following an assessment, your practitioner can provide you with a treatment plan and timescales to achieve the desired goals.

Your practitioner may carry out a postural or bio-mechanical assessment to access global muscles and their effects on the presented symptoms and conditions.

To start we personalise your treatment room by offering you a choice of colours from our mood enhancement light therapy system. The chosen hues and colour tones help to express a specific mood environment to suit you, promote calm, relaxation, balance the nervous system, improve energy levels, to name but a few of the effects.

The selected essential oil blend is rhythmically applied to your skin, followed by massage techniques to melt away the built up stress and tension that is found throughout your entire body.

This holistic stress-busting treatment creates a wonderful state of relaxation by working on areas of tension on the back and there is particular emphasis around the shoulders, along the spine, head, neck and the feet.

Infra-red heat therapy may also be used to aid a deeper relaxing experience.

Your practitioner will endeavor to treat your concerns as much as possible in a single treatment. However, depending on your state of being and your improvement goals you may need a course of regular treatments to achieve desired results.

How quickly will I see the results?
You will feel results immediately after a single treatment and progressively after each session during a course of treatments.

How long will the results last?
Commencing a single treatment you will feel more agile and relaxed for several days and the longevity of the results is greatly improved commencing a course of treatments. However this depends on many factors such as how one cares for oneself post treatment, stress, work environment, exercise choices and lifestyle influences.


Following treatment home care and remedial advice is provided which forms part of your treatment plan. This may include stretches, functional exercises and health tips to do at home, all of which can help restore wellness, strength, flexibility and awareness within tissues, joints, body and mind.

Advice For a greater sense of wellbeing
• Drink at least 1 to 2 liters of water daily to support the body functions.
• Chose a healthier eating plan best suited to you and your lifestyle.
• Eat a balanced diet of foods you like each day.
• Include a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables and proteins.
• Also include a variety of wholegrains, essential fats and minerals.
• Add some herbs & spices to experience their powerful properties.
• Avoid processed foods.
• Take good quality health supplements to support your diet & lifestyle.
• Aid your gut heath to support your brain health and other systems. 
• Move more, take up regular exercise.
• Include stretching into your exercise regime.
